AVCHD MTS/M2TS is a file-based format for the digital recording and playback of high-definition video, which uses the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 standard, supporting a variety of standard, high definition, and stereoscopic (3D) video resolutions. For audio compression, supports both Dolby AC-3 (Dolby Digital) and uncompressed linear PCM audio. AVCHD is produced by HD camcorder like Panasonic HDC-TM900, HDC-HS900, AG-AC130, AG-HMC150, HDC-SD10, Sony HX20V, Sony CX550, Sony NEX-VG20, Sony NEX-FS100, Canon HF200, Canon HF M500, HF G10, HF M300, Hitachi DZ-BD10HA, JVC GZ-HM8XX, GZ-HD620, GZ-HM1, GZ-HM30, etc are not the preferred formats by Final Cut Pro 6/7 and Final Cut Pro X.
