I am a professional cameraman. My most common used camcorder is Sony F5 and I am so familiar to it in the matter of shooting movies. But when it comes to the postproduction of the output files, I am really not an expert.

These days, I ran into a big problem. I find it hard to convert Sony F5 multi-track MXF to Apple ProRes for Final Cut Pro 7. I used lots of software on mavericks, but they all failed to retain its two channels during the conversion. Again and again had I tried, when I was to be driven mad, I luckily ran into Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac, a powerful converter which made all my problems solvable!

Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac is really amazing software with practical functions. If you are a client with the pressing need of converting multi-track MXF, Aunsoft TransMXF Pro for Mac can perfectly satisfy you. It is able to transcode MXF files with 2, 4, 8 or more audio channels to Apple ProRes files. You don’t have to worry about the loss of sounds!
This tool enables you to convert MXF to multi-track video including MKV, MP4, MOV, AVI and Apple ProRes.

By the way, you may batch convert your MXF files and merge them into one! Most of the output formats are available, such as MKV, MP4, MOV, AVI, WMA, AMA and so on for Final Cut Pro, iMovie and Avid Media Composer and many other popular players and editors.

Step one. Add or drag it to the interface. You may also preview it before the conversion.

Step two. Select the output format you need. I chose the Apple ProRes 422 HQ (*.mov), because I want to put it into FCP 7 for the further editing. ( This is a format allowing multi-track!)

Step three. Adjust the setting. You may change the codec, size, bitrate, frame rate of the video and the codec, sample rate, bitrate, and channel of its audio. As for multi-track MXF conversion, you need to check the channels for you specific needs!

Step four. After everything has been set well, you may click the start button. Soon you will get the conversion of MXF to multi-track Apple ProRes file for Final Cut Pro 7.

By the way, I also tried the Aunsoft TransMXF Pro of windows version and it also plays smoothly!
